After the Show

Lex - taking care of her baby at the fair

I am a bit late putting up some pics from the Kingston Fair – sorry about that!  It was a beautiful day on April 2nd – which, unfortunately, kept away the large crowds – but the people who did make it out were treated to Edgar and Uncle Charlie and Alligator – not to mention all the wonderful crafts and information brought by the organizations who came to make the morning quite a special event!

For some more pics of the event take a look at the Big Ryan Facebook Page.  While you’re there make sure to “like” the page!

Lex was watching too!

Telling my tales

Another set of Early Childhood Fair goodness this past weekend!  Scituate Library was a fantastic groups of children AND parents who had a blast!  I usually have a great time telling stories to families – but I have even more of a blast when I see the parents getting into the show as much as thier children do!  Click on the pic above for exclusive photos on my FB page – while there make sure you “Like” the page!

Edagr… strealing my hat!

Oreo Lex

There is a right of passage for every child – and it is their first Oreo Cookie!  Lex had her first one last week, even though she didn’t finish the whole thing, I am pretty sure she loved it as I offered another the other night and she snatched it out of my hand immediately!

Me with my Pups

I spent this past Thursday driving to the beautiful state of New Hampshire after doing a show at the wonderful Acton Discovery Museum.  I was pleasantly surprised with the fantastic crowd that showed up to Acton that morning.  We enjoyed singing and dancing around to “Father Leprechaun” in honor of St. Patrick’s day

Then, after the show, I headed up to NH and spent the night with my Aunt – thanks for the warm bed! – and in the morning I had a blast telling the students of Greenfield Elementary School my St. Patrick’s Day story and introduced them to Edgar and Uncle Charlie.  On the way home I was able to snap a few picks of some interesting sites – I posted them on the BRTT Facebook page – which you can view by clicking here.

While there – you should “like” the page!  I will always post exclusive photos there for everyone to enjoy!

Hanover Entrance!

I loved the show this past Saturday – the John Curtis Free Library is such a beautiful library!  And I was thrilled with the many, many families that joined us on that sunny day!  I hope everyone had as much of a blast as I did!

Lex did come with me but did not make it until the show… nap time loomed and she was passed out before the first song was sung.  Thanks to everyone who asked about her!  Check my facebook page for more pics!  “Like” the page while you are there!

Edgar and Uncle Charlie!

I wasn’t able to take any pics of the show itself – but I did take some pics that I thought would be fun to share.  First off, this is a beautiful, classic building with the most scenic views.  Getting to the front door is even an adventure!

snowy stairs

You can either cross over this slippery pathway – or trudge up the stairs through all the snow!  I choose to slide myself across the pathway. But I was met with a flyer for the show as you walk into the library – and it was a quaint, sweet crowd that joined us on one of the coldest days!

WORD is a great child care place in Fall River and I was fortunate enough to be able to tell my tales there today – check out there facebook page where they have some great pictures and a few videos!  Click on the pic above!

 Lex making a frame

Lex and Frosty!

I always have a blast going back to places over and over – and I have done the open house for Bright Horizons in Norwell every year it’s been open!  I love the way the school is set up and the effort the staff puts toward ensuring the children will have a great time!

Having fun being a dancing fool!

Lex LOVES Charlie

My wife and Lex joined me that morning – and Lex enjoyed making a frame, meeting Frosty and exploring each classroom.  She especially enjoyed the “snow” table they had in the infant room and found a few tiny snowmen – which, as you can tell, made her crack up!

Lex cracking up!

Still has the snowmen…

It was then time for the show and I had a nice group of toddlers join me for some puppets and songs and then we went back to Frosty!  Thank you to Bright Horizons who keeps inviting me back to entertain the kids that come that morning.

Lex was proud she could climb into this…

Here are some great shots from the crowds that I had this past Saturday.  I love telling stories to the children who come to my shows time and time again.  My favorite part is when I bring out the Alligator and the children get excited and start singing the Alligator song without me!

The crowd - listening to the story

These girls were making me laugh with thier giggles

I told “George and the Loose Tooth” at the Holmes Library – and just to keep things interesting I told “The Little Pocket Snowman” to the wonderful crowd at the Paul Pratt Memorial Library.

So, thank you to everyone who came out – and make sure if you liked what you saw that you make your way to the Scituate Library this Saturday where I will be telling more hilarious stories!
