If you like Ice Cream – and you want to hear some funny stories while you eat said ice cream – then come on over to Perry’s Last Stand Sunday at 1:00!  I will be telling stories and you can eat all the ice cream you can afford while I preform!  It’s a win-win situation!

 

Yup – I am officially old.  As I told my stories the other night I mentioned a stereo that had 2 tape decks and a CD player – to which a couple of boys in the front said:

Boy1: “What’s a tape deck?

Boy 2: “What’s a CD player?”

Today, during the Popsicle Song – where the children can give me a “favorite” or “crazy” flavor to add into the song – one of the boys in the audience said “H1 N1″  Yup – you guessed it… the Swine Flu.  Swine Flu Popsicle, anyone?

I remember very fondly that a librarian from the Braintree Library raved and raved about this series of books.  I read it and laughed out loud all the way through it!  It’s a fantastic and hilarious look at what the farm animals are up to when the farmer goes to sleep!  This popular book is so good that Dreamworks is looking into making it a feature film!  Make sure you click on the title above to be brought to the official site – which is loads of fun!
