I just recently had an interview with the Provincetown Banner to discuss and promote the show for tomorrow, Friday of February vacation, at 1:00pm.  It’s a quick, fun read if you have a moment!  Click on the photo above for the link!

I just got this in the mail the other day – and I must say – it’s nice to have appreciation for you captured on a piece of official looking paper!

I am excited to be returning to the Norwell Public Library for a morning show this Saturday!  The puppets are excited too… I know because I just asked them.  Click the image for more info!

I have the distinct pleasure of announcing that Plymouth Public Library has decided to host a Builing Stories Workshop!  This is for 2nd-5th graders and will begin Sunday, February 24th.  We will meet each week at 1:00pm – Registration starts on Feb 10th!

I am heading out to the Plympton Library for a show at 11:00 – who’s coming with me?  Click on the pic for more info!

upcoming shows

In this new year I am going to try my hardest to keep my Upcoming Shows page updated as much as possible!  And… that begins today!  All the way up to April, people!  If you see anything you would like to come to make sure you mark it on your calendar!

 W+M CAKE

I was asked to perform at a birthday party this past month – and even though I very rarely do parties – I was happy to do so for a big fan.  The mother said that her children were avid listeners to my CDs and even asked if was okay to make requests.  I gladly did and showed up that day ready to tell my tales.  I was greeted at the door by a very ecstatic young gentleman who was super excited to hear stories at his party – but also I was told that the cake that the mother prepared was inspired by one of my favorite and oldest Moose and Wolf tales “Treat for Bear”  The image above is the beautiful cake featuring Moose and Wolf who have gone with Mr. Bear to eat the strawberries and blueberries that he had picked.  Thanks so much for sending me pics so that I may share this amazing edible wonder with everyone!

Here is a sneak preview of which book I will be featuring during the Dad’s Group tomorrow.  If you have registered with Playmouth Family Network – then great!  I will see you tomorrow at 10:00!  If not – you can always register for January’s event!  See you all tomorrow!

A somewhat bitter-sweet week for me – while I have some fantastic shows coming up for this weekend – I had my final week with the Mashpee “Building Stories” group.  The presented me with a card and sang “We are Family” while clapping and saying “thank you” for presenting these past 4 weeks.  It was such a blast!  But, like I said, looking forward to the reast of the week – I have quite a weekend for you guys!

First up, Thursday – I will be at the Barnes & Noble in Braintree at 6:30pm – this is a fundraiser for the Bridgewater Library, a great cause, so come on by and check it out!

Saturday – I will start the morning off at the Plymouth Public Library at 10:00am where Plymouth Family Network is sponsoring a Dad’s Group (for any Dad and son/daughter).  Unfortunately, that required you to sign up at the library and is now full…

BUT DO NOT FEAR!  I am also going to be crossing over to Duxbury right after to the Chandler Elementary School where they are holding an Early Childhood Fair!  I will be there at 11:30 – so if you didn’t sign up for the Dad’s Group – come on by the Chandler School for an excellent time!
