Message from Big Ryan

It always takes me a bit to get the new calendar up on the site, and I apologize for that, but it is now updated, and you can see what’s happening in 2025! I have quite a few emails coming in every day, and I am trying to respond to everyone as quickly as possible, but it’s exciting to be booking for the upcoming year and especially the summer!

Let’s start the new year off right! Big Ryan 2025 begins at Book Love in Plymouth tomorrow. The show begins at 10:00am Click on the adorable image above for more information. Don’t forget to check out this gorgeous bookstore even if you can’t make it to see me – but let’s honest, come and see me!

After the rain put a damper on the festivities last year, we are raring to go this year to bring the spirit back into the season! I know I can’t wait to join all these great events – including the adorable puppy parade – and get into the winter season at full steam!

Click on the poster above for more information!

I am going to be telling my tales at 3:00pm at the Post Office so make sure to be there! But also take a look at all the amazing events below:

Come to Book Love in Plymouth at 10:00am on Saturday for another round of fun stories! It’s supposed to be a little rainy this weekend so it’s a perfect time way to spend the morning!

A new round of Raising A Reader is starting in Halifax and it will be a blast! Come join me for tips and tricks to make reading at home so much fun! Learn the importance of reading to your child and ways to make it entertaining for both of you!

This Saturday, October 5th, I will be in Rockland doing 3 shows at the Town Hall. Make sure to come by and say hello! Shows at 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00!

I love being able to open my emails and finding a really sweet message like this. It truly means a lot as the art of storytelling really does mean very much to me. Being able to share the stories with children all over is the greatest feeling in the world!

The sun is still shining every day and the weather continues to be beautiful! It makes traveling between shows that much easier when it’s so gorgeous out! I have been enjoying the summer so much this year. This week I visit each of the Magical Years preschools and also get to visit the Bridgewater Library for our monthly toddler shows. I am also swinging by the Plymouth Library on Wednesday for an afternoon show. Thursday is the rare trip to the Cape this summer – usually I visit a dozen times but this year my only trip is to Harwich for the Brooks Free Library

Also, if you’re looking to schedule a show please call me at 508-641-5336.

Just click the image above to be brought to the registration page. Anyone 7-16 can come (with 7-9 year olds needing some grown up help) and have a blast!

As the Kingston Library states:

Discover your lineage- are you a Vampire, Werewolf or Witch? Earn enough doubloons by doing tricky tasks and mind-tickling games to purchase your totem. Put together the totems and become the leader of your clan!

Monster Mash is a game designed for monsters from ages 7-16 (7-9 year olds with grown-up help.) Sharpen your teeth, polish your claws, and slither your way over to the library to play this exciting game!
