We took Lex to the Winter Beach Party at the Plymouth Public Library – and they snapped a fantastic pic of our little girl enjoying herself digging for shells!  Click on the pic for more!

Hulk Hair Lex!

No one can ever wonder if she is mine… she is pretty much ALL me!

 Lex 1

I don’t think I can say I have a “little” girl anymore – which makes me both sad and proud.  Lex is such a big girl now.  She doesn’t need me to help her eat or color or get into bed.  She tells me she can do it herself.  That kills me in the best way possible.

Everywhere we go I see her being more independant.  It’s so fun and heartbreaking to watch.  What a mix of emotions.  But – she is still – and will always be my little girl:

Lex knows how to impress with the outfits she wears to her Pre-school.  That’s right, my little girl is a pre-schooler.  I love it – but I don’t.  She’s not supposed to get so big…

My family came to my show at the Holmes Public Library – and Lex had a blast.  I have to admit, it melts my heart to see my little girl enjoying my stories like this.

This little girl really has made my life better in so many ways.  I am thankful everyday for such a happy, pretty and joyful little girl.

 getting her hair

I took Lex to get her very first hair cut.  It was a little emotional… for both of us.  But the lady who cut her hair was so fantastic – very sweet and made Lex feel comfortable.  The hardest thing was watching as the woman cut her bangs.  It really made her look older – changed the look of her whole face.

The new bangs

She looks so beautiful with her new haircut.  My favorite part is that she no longer has her hair in her face.  It was bothering her – and now it doesn’t!

the reveal!

storyteller

The Independence Mall in Kingston has a few new kiddie rides – one is a van aptly named “The Storyteller”.  As you can see – it was a big hit!

Cupake Lex

I love how excited Lex is this year – and yes, she is a cupcake!  These are shots from the Halloween Extravaganza that the Plymouth Library held last week.  Remember – only one week left until the big day – I hope you are ready!

Lex and her Daddy!

mayflower1

Lex loves the boats at the waterfront – so I decided to take her onto the Mayflower.  She loved it… well, she loved it all except for the Pilgrims.  One of the ladies asked her why she was wearing britches like her Daddy.  And of course I dressed her in her new awesome skull shirt!  Which totally rocks!

on the boat!

She also introduced me (as Ryan) to everyone.  She had a blast though – as did I!  I especially loved watching Lex try to locate the baby on the ship.  She saw the cradle – and loved to rock it – but could not, for the life of her, find where the baby went!

Where’s the baby?

Toes in the Ocean!

We had a blast this summer – but we welcome the fall weather!  Lex is getting her feet wet for the last time – and dipping her toes intot he ocean for the FIRST TIME!  She loved it, by the way.  Now scheduleing for the Fall and Winter – email me at ryanstalltales@hotmail.com or call me at 508 641 5336 to schedule a show for your school or library!

happy lex
