Toes in the Ocean!

We had a blast this summer – but we welcome the fall weather!  Lex is getting her feet wet for the last time – and dipping her toes intot he ocean for the FIRST TIME!  She loved it, by the way.  Now scheduleing for the Fall and Winter – email me at ryanstalltales@hotmail.com or call me at 508 641 5336 to schedule a show for your school or library!

Lex at the Zoo

I was lucky enough to visit and entertain at one of the greatest zoos in MA – Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon.  They were having an Earth Awareness day and I am always happy and proud to be part of their celebrations!  The fantastic crowd that came to the zoo that morning were able to see Mr Wolf and Mr Moose telling their tales.

the Rhino

Lex came too, to the zoo, and was loving see all the animals – especially my favorite – the White Rhino!  The only white Rhino in the MA – so it’s pretty special.  Thanks to all who came to the zoo on Saturday morning – and I hope you enjoyed your visit!  Visit my Facebook Page to see more pics – don’t forget to like the page while you’re there!

Plymouth Library 2011

Sure enough I had two of the biggest shows this past Friday – and then today – we’re talking about the Plymouth Library and the Bridgewater Library!  I absolutely love seeing so many giggling faces in a sea of children!  The Plymouth show had 150+ people while the Bridgewater show had a whopping 210!  Go to my FB page to sneak a few more pics from the events – and “Like” the page while you are there!

Bridgewater Show!

And then Lex and I cooled off in our pool 🙂

I was asked back “by popular demand” to entertain at the Taunton River Festival this past Saturday.  My first show had a quaint group of great listeners who were more than happy to hear “Morphing Beans” and see Edgar and Uncle Charlie.

The next show had a whole lot more people – but Olivia wasn’t able to snap a pic – she was stuck on the playground with Lex, who refused to leave the slide.  Thank you to the Taunton group who asked me back – I had a blast and hopefully made everyone’s day a little better by making them laugh.

Lex and Daddy

We did make another stop that Saturday – at BC, where Olivia graduated from, to pick up Lex a BC sweat shirt – her first!  Check my FBpage to see more pics – and “like” the page while you’re there!

I think Lex is making a statement about this NE weather… it is May, isn’t it?

Lex and Frosty!

I always have a blast going back to places over and over – and I have done the open house for Bright Horizons in Norwell every year it’s been open!  I love the way the school is set up and the effort the staff puts toward ensuring the children will have a great time!

Having fun being a dancing fool!

Lex LOVES Charlie

My wife and Lex joined me that morning – and Lex enjoyed making a frame, meeting Frosty and exploring each classroom.  She especially enjoyed the “snow” table they had in the infant room and found a few tiny snowmen – which, as you can tell, made her crack up!

Lex cracking up!

Still has the snowmen…

It was then time for the show and I had a nice group of toddlers join me for some puppets and songs and then we went back to Frosty!  Thank you to Bright Horizons who keeps inviting me back to entertain the kids that come that morning.

Lex was proud she could climb into this…

I want to thank the huge crowds that showed up at the Pembroke and Hingham Libraries this past weekend – I had a blast!  I absolutely love and believe in the services that the Library provides a community.  Lex and I try to make it to our local Library at least once a week to play and read.

The Plymouth Library has some awesome furniture that looks like books – and Lex loves the “lounge” chair that looks like an open book – as you can tell!  Today she had a grand time taking the doll house furniture and setting it up on one of the book shelves.

Lex in Glass!

 Lex in Glass 2

My family and I had a great weekend – and with Thanksgiving behind us we decided to go and get our Christmas Tree!  Lex’s 2nd Christmas – but last year at this time she couldn’t even roll over – let alone enjoy the festivities!

While making room for our new tree we were moving and cleaning out Olivia’s curio cabinet.  Funny enough, Lex took the opportunity to crawl right in and then give kisses through the glass.  I know, too adorable!

Checking out the sites…

It’s chilly but awesome out!

Then, off to get the tree – and it didn’t take long at all.  We were in and out in less than 15 minutes!  It was so nice to get home and put it right up.  Lex even helped decorate – then of course she decided to take off the ornaments she put on… but that’s okay.  Hope everyone enjoys this season as much as I do!

Hamburger! Hamburger!

 Bumble BEE!

I did this last year – and it was such a hit!  So, here we go again!  Lex tried on just the tops of the costumes – but these are on the top of the list – leave me a comment and let me know which one you like the best!

Giraffe!

Some one call for Pizza?

Oh, really? I thought we were BFFs…

 Lex and her Granny!

Last year we tried to go apple picking with Lex – but we went too late – so this year we took the opportunity nice and early!  We took off to Acushnet this past Sunday and made a great day out of it!

The wagon is filling up!

How adorable is she? Answer - the most!

Now that Lex is sitting solidly by herself – we took her new favorite mode of transportation – her wagon!  She even loved hanging out in it as it filled with apples!  We were able to get every kind that they offer – Macintosh, Golden Delicious, Galla, Granny Smith – it was a fantastic trip!
