Pic of the Week

Somehow, no matter where I am, I keep making new four-legged friends! As I was getting my oil changed the pup above jumped on my lap and kept me company. Then, one night, as I was working, the little guy below jumped on my window to come say hi.

I remember telling my tales at Little Red School House back in the day. It was a great time where I could try out new stories and the kiddos would give me honest feedback. Not always the most constructive, but very, very honest.

The time I was reading Holes to my mother’s kindergarten class. I think this goes back to 2001-2002. My fashion sense is totally on fleek!

Sometimes I look back and I just see the joy in my face as a perform. I think this event took place in a church basement. I still remember that shirt though! And from my stance I believe I am beginning the show with the Lion Hunt.

Meet Calvin and Hobbes! After we lost Brodie Bruce this past July my wife and I were on the lookout to adopt a kitty or two. Since we still have my favorite little lady kitty, Potter-Girl, we weren’t sure if we were looking to get just one kitty or two.

Thanks to the rescue organization, we were given the opportunity to adopt this brother and sister pair. This litter had 5 kittens (including 2 Calicos) and we just couldn’t resist making sure at least this brother and sister stayed together. For now, they are getting acclimated to the house and soon we will be able to introduce these two to Potter.

I will keep you updated!

Unfortunately, I don’t remember where this took place but I do remember that cardigan! I still have it and wear it to this day. Of course, it’s a little tighter fit now.

Behind that Ernie mask is none other than me! This was a very hot July for the Plymouth Independence Day parade where I somehow was roped into walking the parade route in a full, furry and very warm Ernie costume.

I stumbled across some old photos of Big Ryan shows from the past. This is from a show early in the Big Ryan history. I remember distinctly, this was at a Plymouth Preschool where I had previously worked. They were always so supportive and asked me back to perform multiple times. The building, while there, is no longer a preschool.

homemade edgar and uncle charlie

After the Hingham Early Childhood Event I was surprised to learn that one of the little boys Wes went home and his momma helped him create a mini Edgar and Uncle Charlie for him to use at home!  Thanks for sending me the picture – it was so exciting to see!
