An exciting experience brought to you by Big Ryan’s Tall Tales! Everyone loves Mystery Rooms and now children 7-16 can partake in a real life mystery! These Traveling Mystery Rooms are open to all ages (ages 7-9 with parental assistance) and include riddles, observation and memorization puzzles, physical challenges, as well as games promoting math and geography!

I have been getting a lot of inquiries about how the rooms run and what kind of space is required. I can fit into any space and the rooms run with two game masters who help with clues and hints if anyone is struggling.

These fun games offer chances to use cognitive thinking and reasoning skills, as well as encourage team building with a healthy dose of competitive spirit!

There are two games to choose from:

“The Unfortunate Passing of Pliant McTwist: A Murder Mystery”

and

“The Monster Mash”

If you’d like a chance to host one of these family friendly and child appropriate traveling mystery rooms, please call (508) 641-5336 or email me at ryanstalltales@hotmail.com

I have forever said just how much I love the classic There is a Monster at the End of this Book! Well, I can’t even tell you the excitement I felt when I came across a sequel featuring Grover AND Elmo! I read this with my niece tonight and did a reading on Facebook Live this past weekend – go check it out if you want – It was so much fun!

I spent this last week at the Middleboro Schools with the 4th grade. We dove into writing exercises and had a blast playing writing games that allowed us to become our very own storytellers!

At the end of the week the kids come together for a full grade performance. While I had a blast telling these tales, Brendan took the opportunity to draw my handsome mug! It’s amazingly accurate!
