Make sure you have time to stop by the Kingston Library at 1:00 – I will be there to celebrate Old Home Day!  There will be plenty of laughs to be had – so come on by tomorrow and have a blast!

Title: The Cat Who Walked Across France
Author: Kate Banks
Publisher: Frances Foster Books

I am sorry I lapsed in showcasing a book of the month! Now that the busy summer has ended I have an opportunity to get back on track! Here is a fantastic book I found while visiting Harwich this past July. I had a great experience visiting France many years ago – I still look back at that time fondly. If you have a chance, take a look at this visually wonderful book!

Yes, I will be at the Falmouth Library in the morning and I am looking forward to breaking out my Fall stories!  Come on by to get in the mood for that wonderful fall feeling!  Come and have a blast!

Lex and Dad-ster
One of the things I have always done – since Lex was born – was throw her high up in the air and catch her. I’ve done it to her since she was able to hold her own head up – and to this day she loves it.

I don’t think I have ever done a Birthday Party for a little one with the same name as one of my characters – well, tomorrow I will – as I am doing a party for a little girl named Amy! And even better – she wants a story to hear an Amy story!

Come on down to P-Town where I will be telling some tales!  This is the final installment of the three season special that I did for them – so, of course we will end things with a bang!  Make sure to get there early for a good seat!  Click on the image above for more info!

I was at a preschool today and one of the little boys in the front of the group said “I don’t know you…”

I was about to introduce myself to him when he continued with

“… and this is crazy but here’s my number, so call me GRAVY!”

I will be in Truro tonight for a fantastic evening show!  Come on over and have a blast with me!

Make sure you come by the Dennis Public Library tomorrow at 2:00 to see one of the best shows ever!  I have it on good authority that it’s great… true, I am the one performing, but I can be unbiased too… Click on image above for more info!

 Lex 1

I don’t think I can say I have a “little” girl anymore – which makes me both sad and proud.  Lex is such a big girl now.  She doesn’t need me to help her eat or color or get into bed.  She tells me she can do it herself.  That kills me in the best way possible.

Lex 2

Everywhere we go I see her being more independant.  It’s so fun and heartbreaking to watch.  What a mix of emotions.  But – she is still – and will always be my little girl:
