I love Pumpkins! I love pumpkins WAY more than anyone I know – and books about pumpkins are even better!  Books that make learning about something seem easy and fun are the best kind – and this is certainly up there with one of the best!  Check it out today – especially if you love pumpkins the way I do!

The squirrels have a annoying habit of destroying my beloved pumpkins… and to think – I was going to buy them a feeder and food!  Now they can just forget it!

I forgot to post a book of the month in August – and have been doing some major work on the site – now I almost forgot to post a book for September – but I remembered at the last moment!  Now, in honor of my fall story “The Scared Crow” I am highlighting a book that I love called The Scarecrow.  This is a quiet, sweet book that adults may enjoys – even more than their children do!  Check it out today!

 I hope everyone is staying safe and keeping indoors during Irene – I hope everyone makes it out okay.  I love rainy days – but this is a whole different situation!

I was lucky enough to visit and entertain at one of the greatest zoos in MA – Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon.  They were having an Earth Awareness day and I am always happy and proud to be part of their celebrations!  The fantastic crowd that came to the zoo that morning were able to see Mr Wolf and Mr Moose telling their tales.

Lex came too, to the zoo, and was loving see all the animals – especially my favorite – the White Rhino!  The only white Rhino in the MA – so it’s pretty special.  Thanks to all who came to the zoo on Saturday morning – and I hope you enjoyed your visit!  Visit my Facebook Page to see more pics – don’t forget to like the page while you’re there!
