Here is my beautiful wife holding our daughter – who was wishing everyone a Happy Valentines Day.  It may be a little late – but I, and they, still hope it was a happy one!

Title: My Daddy Snores
Author: Nancy Rothstein
Publisher: Scholastic, Inc.

I love books that send a message – but sometimes you just want a silly book that makes you laugh.  This is certainly one of them!  See what the poor woman does – who is married to someone who snores like a train, a tea pot, and earthquake and more!  I also really enjoyed the Author’s website – visit it by clicking on the name above!

I was just informed that I had the Library listed wrong on my Upcoming shows page for the show on the 18th!  So sorry!  I will be at the Southborough Library on the 18th at 2:00 – not Stoughton!  So please check there website here and hope to see everyone there!

I’ve really enjoyed bringing back the Family Reading Nights with Plymouth Family Network!  Everyone should thank PFN for bringing great events like these to our communities – this past Family Reading Night we read “My Many Colored Days” by Dr. Seuss and then the kids cut out colored faces and told us how each color made them feel.  Not to mention – my daughter made it to see her Dad in action!  This was the first Big Ryan show she’s been to – and my wife said she loved the puppets!  Can’t wait for the next one!

Title: Late for School
Author: Stephanie Calmenson
Publisher: Lerner Publishing Group, Inc.

I like books with a message – but even better when the message is more than just for kids.  This is one of those stories.  Basically, a teacher learns that his rule of NEVER be late for school is easy to say – but not as easy to follow.  The best part of this book is watching as the teacher keeps missing his transportation… a great, funny book that can teach everyone a good lesson!

Lexi sitting all cute!

A few shots of my little girl – the first, she is sitting in our laundry basket – and the other is one night we decide to let her feed herself some peaches… which was way too cute!

Playing with Peaches!

Hello All! I, Big Ryan, am feeling much better – have been suffering through the flu for the past few days – but today I am back to 100% and had a fantastic show at the Carver Library this morning. The other news I have is that the Family Reading Night that was on my Upcoming Shows Page for tonight has been rescheduled for FEBRUARY 4TH at South Elementary, Plymouth! I hope you all can make it and will promise to have something special planned for the families who attend!

I have a few times left for February vacation (Feb 15th – 19th) Monday and Friday afternoon – so if you are interested please call ASAP!  I’ve updated the UPCOMING SHOWS PAGE again – and staying nice and busy!  I look forward to seeing everyone in any of the future shows!

Title: Yo! Yes?
Author: Chris Raschka
Publisher: Schoolastic

I almost forgot to post a new book!  That would have been a shame! This is one of those simple, but wonderful books that really benefit when you use voices for the 2 different characters. It’s a conversation between 2 young kids – one looking for a friend – the other offering his services! It’s funny and captures a great moment between 2 children.

I have updated the Upcoming Shows Page – make sure you check it out!  As always, the shows in red are open to the public – if I’m in your area, make it to a show!  I love seeing familiar faces!
